Answers to some common questions about the Bundle of Holding

When you purchase a Bundle of Holding offer, or when you sign up for our free mailing list, we record your email address on our server. If the offer is hosted by another site -- this has happened just once in Bundle history, with the May 2018 Campaign Cartographer Bundle -- we pass along your email address to that site. Otherwise, we never give, rent, share, or make your address or other information available to anybody else.
We never use your address except to contact you about your specific purchase. We contact mailing-list users only to announce new offers, and never anything else.
Getting your bundle
After your purchase, we'll email you a link to your own custom-created download page. It may take up to an hour to send you the link, depending on how long your payment gateway takes to confirm your purchase.
The download page, your Wizard's Cabinet, has links to all individual titles you purchased. Each title is offered as a DRM-free .PDF (Portable Document Format), suitable for reading on computers and larger tablets. Some titles are also offered in Kindle (.mobi) and ePub formats, used by most ereaders.
You can visit your download page at any time, even after the bundle offer ends. You can also make local backup copies of your files and move them around to all your reading devices.
IMPORTANT: Please add the Bundle of Holding email address, firstname.lastname@example.org, to your approved sender list, and check your spam filter to make sure our mail wasn't stopped by mistake.
Our oath of fealty: We'll never sell, rent, or give your email address to anyone else. We'll never use your address for anything but the Bundle of Holding.
How do I create an account?
If you haven't yet purchased one of our offers, relax! You don't need to create an account. Each account gathers the files from all the customer's past purchases in one location. If you haven't bought anything yet, there's nothing to gather.
Once you purchase one of our offers, just follow the download link we email you. It leads to a log-in page that asks you to enter your email address and password. This doubles as the account creation page. Enter the email address you used to purchase the offer, then create a password. Click the button, and you've created your account.
Not seeing the payment gateway buttons?
The Bundle of Holding accepts payments via PayPal and Amazon Payments. If you don't see the buttons for these two gateways, please disable any ad-blockers or privacy-protection browser plugins for this site, especially Privacy Badger. Then (assuming you're not viewing the site on your phone), hold down the Shift key and click the browser's Refresh button. Shift + Refresh tells your browser to fetch fresh copies of anything it has cached locally.
You can also try visiting this site in a private ("incognito") tab, which often disables the interfering plugins.
How do I change my password?
If you're already logged in, click the three-line "hamburger" menu symbol in the upper right corner of this page, then select "My Account." On that settings page you can update everything we know about you.
If you're not logged in, visit one of your Wizard's Cabinet download pages. At the login screen, click the red text "I failed my Intelligence roll and forgot my password." That will prompt our system to send you through the password-reset routine.
How do I link my Bundle of Holding titles to my DriveThruRPG account?
The first time you visit your Wizard's Cabinet on this site, we'll ask you to enter your DriveThruRPG email address. Thereafter, on your later visits to our site, we'll notify you when we've added any of your past purchases to your DriveThruRPG Library. Important: Your DriveThruRPG account address may be different from the one you use for your Bundle account. We need your CORRECT DriveThru address to add your ebooks to your Library there.
You can update your DriveThruRPG address on your account settings page. Click the three-line "hamburger" menu symbol in the upper right corner of this page, then select "My Account."
In the past we offered the ability to sell a bundle as a gift. Unfortunately that function is currently broken, and we don't know when it will be fixed.
Downloading your files
Q: Can you provide a single link on my download page that lets me download all the files at once?
A: We'd like to do that, but our server would melt. Some of our bundles are hundreds of megabytes in size. If hundreds of customers download them all, all at once, our Internet Service Provider couldn't cope with the bandwidth demand.
Opening and reading your files
Q: I can't get my Kindle app to recognize or find my files on my phone.
A: Your downloaded files may have gone to the "Downloads" folder on your ereader or phone. Move the files manually to your "Books" folder.
If you have trouble opening or reading your files, or if you lose your download key, contact us at bundleofholding (at) Gmail. We'll dispatch a squad of Customer Service Golems to combat the problem.
If you paid more than the threshold price for your Bundle of Holding as of the time of purchase, you receive additional ebooks as a bonus. These titles are available on your Wizard's Cabinet download page.
During the offer's run, we may add new bonus titles to the bundle. No matter how much you paid, you automatically receive every bonus title we add after your purchase. This is your reward for buying early. Latecomers, the ones who buy after you did, still need to pay more than the current threshold price to get these new bonuses in their own bundles.
If you'd like to assign the charitable portion of your Bundle of Holding payment to the contributors instead of the designated charity, email us: email@example.com. Let us know how much you paid and we'll arrange your payment accordingly.
If you're unsatisfied with your Bundle of Holding purchase for any reason, email firstname.lastname@example.org within seven (7) days of your purchase and we'll issue you a full refund, no questions asked. Please include the date of your order, the payment gateway you used, and the email address you gave us.
A note to Gmail users
Gmail divides your inbox into three separate categories: Primary, Social, and Promotions. Are you on our mailing list? If so, you can make sure you don't miss our mailings by clicking the Promotions tab. Right-click any Bundle of Holding message and select 'Move to tab > Primary' OR drag the message to the Primary tab. Gmail will prompt you: "The conversation has been moved to 'Primary.' Do this for future messages from email@example.com" Click "Yes."
