In the Dragon Reaches of Marakush lies the frontier kingdom of Urtind, and the north fiefdoms of Urtind form the Earldom of Gar. The Earl Llion Barsim, elected chief of the Badger Tribe, rules Gar. Barsim maintains an uneasy truce with the bordering kingdom of Darken, a realm of dense forest whose nobility are dragons – yes, literal dragons – ruled by Shugaloth, an ancient emerald wyrm regarded by her people as divine. Standing firm against Darken are Gar's Caer Militas, the three fighting orders (Bear, Blue Rose, and Chalice) of the Church of Urto.
Years ago, the Badger Tribe waged a war to suppress the chaotic Canus Cult. Now, in the wake of a terrible plague, the Cult is rebuilding, infiltrating Gar's Goldsmiths and Moneylenders guilds in an attempt to destabilize local governments. Cultists seek to corrupt a key ley line nexus, the sacred Oak Groves of the Hyandic druids. The Order of the Dragon is recruiting external agents to locate Canus Cult and Darken spies.
The Eorldom of Gar setting book (110pp, retail price $12) describes the kingdom's history, geography, clans, religions, economy, social customs, major nonplayer characters, and magical items of note. The "Settlements" appendix maps all the towns and lists medieval-style tax assessments for dozens of small settlements.
The four-part Eorldom of Gar Campaign – 1. Militas to Jaileen (70pp, retail $9), 2. Across the Eorldom (78pp, retail $9), 3. Agents of the Dragon (84pp, retail $9), and 4. Then There Were None (68pp, retail $9) – introduces the region and involves the player characters in local politics. The characters visit the boomtown of Garabas, recover an artifact for the Church, and gain reputation in the kingdom. Can they pervert the plot of the Canus Cult? If they don't, the whole region will fall.
Northern Urtind - Cadan Bay (retail $10): A high-resolution map of Northen Urtind that covers the regions explored in many Marakush-based adventures as well as in the Eorldom of Gar Campaign.
