Colostle is a single-player journaling game from creator Nich Angell at Draconeer Games about exploring a world-sized castle. The Colostle is vast, rooms beyond impossible rooms, floors above floors extending infinitely in all directions. These Roomlands hold mountains, lakes, canyons, rivers, oceans, deserts, caves, and tempting ancient ruins – and most dangerous of all, they hold Rooks: bizarre walking castles that seem to wander aimlessly. Funded in a sequence of Kickstarter campaigns starting in January 2021, Colostle is a solo RPG rulebook and setting for adventure in the Roomlands. Using a standard deck of playing cards, check the prompts and rules in the book to see what you discover on your adventures across the Battlements, the Oceans, the Grand City of Parapette, the frozen Tundroom wasteland, and the far-distant empire of Kyodaina. Combine prompts as you like, then decide how your character reacts. Record your growing legend in your personal Roomlander Journal.
