These five adventures for Weird Frontiers, written by many star designers of the Dungeon Crawl Classics line, are suited for 4-6 trailhand player characters of levels 1-3.
Never Swallow the Worm! (48pp, for level 1 characters) by David Baity: The posse rides hard on a dusty trail to put down a gang of roughnecks dead set on conjuring elder-deviltry. But best-laid plans go off the rails, and the real deviltry is riding towards Adobes with a thirst for hooch and a curse that might spell the beginning of the end.
Not So Fast, Billy Ray! (31pp, level 2) by Brendan Lasalle: Everybody knows ol' Billy Ray. But now he's missing, and a powerful magical disruption is drawing arcane researchers to the sleepy town of Ogallala, Nebraska. Perhaps you're a friend of the simple man, maybe he owes you money, or just maybe you're a magical sensitive lured by dreams of power. No matter the reason, Ogallala calls, and you aim to answer.
Dig Three Graves (37pp, levels 2-3) by Harley Stroh pits the characters against impossible odds and a secret society ripped from actual history. To triumph, the characters have to rely on far more than just a fast draw or lucky incantation. For when the hoofbeats thunder and the skies darken, it's long past time to sort the quick from the dead.
The Malevolent Seven (49pp, level 3) by Bob Brinkman: When a nightmare foretells their deaths, the PCs race against time to reduce the power of the "Malevolent Seven." Questioning locals, confronting ancient mysteries, and even beseeching near-forgotten gods, the trailhands prepare for one Hell of a showdown.
Nest of Snakes (34pp, level 3) by Michael Curtis: A debased family of French aristocracy dwells in a dilapidated plantation manor in the Louisiana swamps. The family's depraved occult practices and their long isolation have transformed them into deadly opponents. The family estate harbors both terrors and treasures for the party that can survive this serpents' nest.
