Vast Grimm is a standalone Creature Curation RPG of bizarre space-opera horror inspired by Mörk Borg. It's 663 years since The Six devout disciples raided the Primordial Mausoleum of THEY and unleashed a plague: six strains of parasitic würms that infected most of humanity. Those consumed by the larvae mutate into a zombie-like alien hive-mind known as The Grimm. You play a MAnchiNe, Soul Survivor, Lost Technomaniac, Twisted Biochemist, Emo|Bot, or Treacherous Merc – maybe all of them in sequence, because these meatbags die fast and gruesomely. (Good thing there's an online Vast Grimm character generator.) But with their Irritating Idiosyncrasies and Battle Scars (for that extra level of filth), technomagical Tributes that implode in Cataclysmic Condemnations, and addictive drugs like Rocket Stick and Berserker Stim, your hapless crews – "Guardians of the Galaxy fighting Alien parasites and the Reavers from Firefly" – live lives as bright as the lime-green, neon-piiiink spreads of these psychotronic adventures. Try to save what's left of humanity, earn enough cred sticks to go out gloriously, or build a Gate of Infinite Stars so you can escape this life before it collapses.
